Staff from CNH Architects recently met with neighbors of the Eagan Central Maintenance Facility to share images and details about the improvement project.
The work involves three buildings: a vehicle wash bay, vehicle storage building and remodeling of first and second floor offices and a lunch room, explains Architectural Designer Jessica Johnson with CNH Architects.
The expansion of indoor storage and a vehicle wash building on the site are expected to extend equipment life and reduce visible elements. The wash building will feature a water recycling system to minimize water usage.
Updates to the office are intended to meet current staffing space needs in a welcoming and safe environment. There are plans for skylights and other daylighting elements to reduce energy use, as well as LED lighting upgrades throughout.
