CNH Architects is taking its fire station expertise to Mendota Heights.

Mendota Heights is on track to remodel and double the size of its lone fire station, a project more than three years in the making.
The city council has approved final plans and directed city staff to seek bids for the estimated $7 million project, which would be funded by the sale of capital improvement bonds.
“It’s been long overdue,” Mayor Neil Garlock said Tuesday of the station, which opened in 1985. “They’ve been crowded for years.” Read more.
