Imagine IT’s new Bloomington office is built around the idea of the firm’s “happ(i)ness circle” — that creating employee-focused happiness in the office creates happiness in the community.
The concept and design have paid off. Having just moved into the space in December, the company already has been awarded an American Psychological Association’s Psychologically Healthy Workplace Honor.Employees at the IT firm can enjoy the fully stocked kitchen’s salad bar, with soups and sandwiches; they can take a nap in the siesta room; or they can try out the office’s virtual reality game system or its gaming center.
Sometimes employees, and even CEO Rich Anderson, have made food in the office to share with co-workers.
