From the initial groundbreaking to the installation of structural steel, the Burnsville Police and City Hall project is steadily moving forward. What started as a plan for secure and efficient civic campus is now becoming visible in its form and structure.
Â
The building’s depth is beginning to define its spaces, showing how scale, angles, and layout will come together. With steel framing and precast panels in place, the framework of the design is more clear, and the geometry of the addition is taking shape.
Â
Visitors can now experience moving through upper and lower levels, with windows that will offer an abundance of daylight – along with views of the pond and surrounding woods. In particular, the future Council Chamber will provide a scenic outlook that connects the work of governance with the natural setting.
Â
The project reflects a balance of functionality and thoughtful design, creating spaces that serve the community while embracing the site’s unique landscape.
Â
Phase One of the project is expected to be completed mid-summer of 2026. For more information, timelines, and updates, visit the City of Burnsville website.
