CNH Architects’ Interior Design team was hired to select finishes and materials and to provide a permit set for Lakeville’s Masterpiece Chocolates.

Masterpiece Chocolates took over a formerly vacant strip mall space to sell their artisan chocolates and treats, and when JT Enger Construction reached out to CNH to provide experienced interior design direction, a partnership was formed for the project.

According to CNH Senior Associate and Interior Designer Ashley Klis, the retail area has luxury vinyl plank flooring, painted walls with one wallpapered accent wall, plastic laminate cabinetry and countertops.  There is also a commercial kitchen with quarry tile floors and fiberglass reinforced wall panels.

While CNH has completed many tenant space projects such as this one, this is the first chocolate shop the firm has completed.

“The owner provided chocolate samples during the design process, which was a delicious perk, ” Klis said.
