For the past 15 years, CNH has been working with the Hilton Hotel and Tower of Minneapolis, renovating existing space in the hotel from hotel rooms to assembly spaces, including banquet rooms, conference space, bars and restaurants. The work has included new mechanical and electrical systems, sound, space planning, new finishes, and code analysis. CNH has provided construction administration, representing the Hilton and coordinating the efforts of the executive team of the hotel with various consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
A municipal golf clubhouse which is designed to upgrade the course’s ability to service golfers and golf events. The new facility has a main event room with the capacity to hold 140 diners, a commercial kitchen, bar with high seating and is connected to a casual seating area that serves as the social heart of the clubhouse. The main event room overlooks the 18th hole and beautiful back ground of the golf course. This spectacular view is also seen from the lobby and bar areas. Course staff in the pro shop have direct line of sight to the 1st tee, 9th green, 10th tee, putting green and end of the 18th hole.
This facility was awarded Three Green Globes by the Green Building Initiative and is the first new building in Minnesota to earn this high, third party verified, sustainable certification.
Created as a focal point for a renovated golf course, Gopher Hills Clubhouse houses an upscale dining room, pro shop, lounge, commercial kitchen, and banquet facilities. Wood trim and detailing throughout the building add a comfortable elegance to this rural setting.
The AmericInn hotel is an 84 unit, four story hotel facility. In addition to guest rooms, the project includes an attached indoor swimming pool, customer lobby, and meeting rooms. Natural woodwork and stone fireplace provide a cozy touch to the two story lobby, the first for an AmericInn hotel location. Careful construction detailing for acoustical separation helps to assure customer comfort.
This addition adds banquet capacity and cart storage to an existing golf course. Sharing and expanding the existing clubhouse kitchen, the new banquet space overlooks both the 16th and 18th holes. The original clubhouse included a small seating area served by a limited grill. With the addition of this banquet facility, large tournaments can be accommodated along with other special events that take advantage of the picturesque surroundings.
CNH Architects updated the GrandStay Hotel and Conference Center in Apple Valley with a more urban looking exterior and chic, streamlined interior. Portions of the first floor were reconfigured to connect the lobby and conference center. With the addition of the new corridor, the existing breakfast area was relocated and updated. Automated entrance doors and new carpeting were installed, and historic local photographs were hung in common areas.
