Daycare and Early Learning
Jardín Spanish Immersion Academy was founded to be a welcoming space where little ones grow into healthy, happy, bilingual kids. Together, CNH and Jardín developed a learning environment that brings this philosophy to life.
This former bowling alley was given new life as it was transformed into a daycare facility. Classrooms for infants through preschool age children feature bright colors, durable finishes and custom painted artwork, which enhance the vibrant, child-focused environment. In addition to the daycare, the 12,500 square foot building also houses Jardín’s corporate offices and their teacher training classrooms.
The Jardín Spanish Immersion Day Care & Preschool believes in using a holistic approach to nurture children and takes pride in their commitment to supporting bicultural communities throughout the Twin Cities. To help further this mission, CNH Architects designed their new facility to express the creativity and culture inherent in Jardín program. The one story building has 8600 square feet and a prominent two story glass atrium entry. The glass atrium was designed to exert a strong presence on the site, increase visibility of the facility from the highway and to create an identity for future Jardín facilities.
