Current: Eagan Central Maintenance facilities enhance longevity, conserve

A three-building project for the City of Eagan marked significant improvements centered to the public works campus, and preparations for the future.

CNH designed and monitored construction of a vehicle storage building and wash bay, as well as remodeling for offices and a lunchroom. Indoor shelter for equipment is expected to extend service life while shielding machinery from public view.

Sustainable design principles were employed for a vehicle wash building for city fleets. Wash water is recycled to reduce usage while added upgrades involving LED lights, skylights and other day-lighting elements conserve energy. Eagan also called on CNH to create a complete asset management plan for the public works campus to be used for annual capital improvement budgets, and for tracking major maintenance tasks.
