Designer returns for 5K9 Strut for Mutt, CNH supports

CNH Architectural Designer Al Tsai is back again with his dog, Lucky, and both are walking in the "5K9 Strut for a Mutt" event in Eden Prairie on Sunday, May 21 for Secondhand Hounds.  CNH is also a sponsor.

"I am excited to support Secondhand Hounds, which rescues dogs and cats from high-kill rate shelters from around the region," Tsai said.  His fundraising page has a $1,000 pledge goal.  Last year's event raised $30,000.

Tsai and his wife adopted Lucky through Secondhand Hounds two years ago and have stayed in touch with the people who care for the dog's litter-mates, as well as the woman who cared for Lucky prior to his adoption.

"Lucky is a big part of our family, loves to eat bananas, likes long walks and sleeping on the couch during the day," said Tsai.  "We are always blessed to care for him and blessed by his affection, calm and steady personality, and readiness for a tummy rub."

Secondhand Hounds rescues animals, places them in foster homes, arranges for adoptions and places them in hospice care if needed, Tsai explains.
